The two associate degrees types offered by the Pratt Institute are called AAS and AOS. I tried to represent these letters in the most abstract way possible and use it as a design element.

The Pratt Institute is where creative people do creative things. I wanted to represent this by, first, keeping a blank slate of black and white, and then adding graphic elements that feature every color on the spectrum.
The right represents a creative brain, and the left represents creative DNA.

Upon leaving the elevator or the stairwell, this poster is the first thing a person would see. I added a “3” to show that you are on the third floor and added the department information. I also added a map that lists the location for all the classrooms and lockers

Located by the door to the office of the AOS/AAS department in a narrow hallway, I added the department mark near the bottom of the composition for ease of viewing from up close.

This poster is located at the end of a long hallway. It is largely and aesthetic piece that is designed to look appealing from both close up and far away.

The TVs located in the lounge cycle through multiple screens giving department and campus information. This aesthetic image meant to reinforce the department’s brand is one of them.
